If there was a zero star these muppets would get it! Typical wide-boy attitude ...above the law and tenants (the customers) are treated like peasants. Well, their treatment of our family, on behalf of their landlord client, will not only cost them their reputation ...although it’s clear from the vast majority of reviews they have no reputation worth protecting, but it will absolutely cost them money ...which is probably the only language they understand. Watch this space Featherstone Leigh as you’re about to learn a lesson in how to treat customers....that one way or another, despite your patronising view, your business relies upon.

From the initial valuation of the property by Dan Johnson, Associate Director at Teddington, Mx. Branch, through to the final details of Sale the Sales Team kept me informed and always responded quickly to any email or phone call. I felt totally free to negotiate the sale price of the property and felt I could request advice from the team if needed. . Danielle Lee-Sahin, Senior Sales Negotiator attended the viewings of prospective buyers in a very professional way and I was happy to leave these with her and did not attend myself. Dan and Danielle kept me updated - important to me as I do not live locally. After completion of the sale I was advised of exchange of contract day and Danielle did indeed see to all the details that lead to a successful transaction. Thank you all

I have rented a flat with the Teddington branch. My experience has been rather negative and I would not recommend this agency to anyone. They have been very invasive in arranging views of the flat after my notice of tenancy agreement end. They gave me a very short notice for the viewings and insisted on arranging them over the weekend although I clearly mentioned to them this was inconvenient. Once they even unlocked the door and came in with potential tenants without even knocking. When we moved in we immediately noticed a large water leakage which has never been fixed during the whole direction of our tenancy, despite the landlord knowing it was there. It was evident that the property was not water tight and obviously if any of the pipes are leaking water it is only expected to have problems with damp and mould. In fact over time mould formed on the walls despite keeping several dehumidifiers in the flat and ensuring persistent ventilation. Now that we have finally moved out they have asked us to pay towards redecoration expenses to cover up the mould. Awful experience.

It is hard to tell who comes off worse from FL Property Management - the landlord for paying for a service that the tenant doesn't receive; or the tenant who has to continually chase FL and listen to the never-ending excuse of quarantined e-mails. Can count one occasion in 18 months when they were pro-active. It's not an experience we have had with any other property management firms. Particularly worrisome is deposit return when they simply do not abide by the terms of the contract as they have to be chased on everything.
There is no concept of incident management, customer service or even property management.
Landlords - you (and your tenants) are not getting what you pay for Tenants - insist your landlord uses a professional property management outfit

What agent could do to change your mind?
Been more apologetic and tried to arrange another appointment. Being rude to a customer always leads to the customer not wishing to return to that agent.

My advise as a buyer or seller is not to use Featherstone Leigh. The Teddington office booked me in for a viewing on a Saturday and stood us up. Nobody bothered to contact me for a few days to apologise. However, at least somebody did apologise! The same thing happened with the Twickenham office, they booked me in for an evening appointment. My husband raced back from work and then nobody turned up to the property. When I rang to complain, the manager was appalling and did not apologise at all. He tried to accuse me of being a liar and then when I called him up on this stated that this couldn't have been a mistake at their end, the implication being that it was me. Really bad customer service! I could never sell my property through them and would advise prospective customers to stay well away! You will lose several buyers through them. I assume that bad training has led to poor staff.

I spent 3 weeks without a washing machine and the agent didn't make any calls to me or offer any support. In addition, they provided no support in seeking reimbursement for cleaning costs incurred during this time.
Additionally, I was trapped outside of the country during a snowstorm and no one was willing to go to the property to turn the heat on because they were "too busy".
Absolutely appalling attitude and total indifference.
I have used more than a dozen agents in my life, a lot of international assignments. I've never said this about any agent previously. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.
