MY experience with Townends was excellent and particular mention must go to Chris Gann who worked extremely hard to sell my property which was not an easy sale, not because the property was hard to sell but he came across lots of obstacles, when dealing with people.......anything that could go wrong went wrong but he got my sale there in the end. Generally a terrible experience from the start to finish. There was absolutely no support in terms of fixing anything in our house (managed by Townends). At every turn they also tried to get more money off us: - They gave us a quote on initial fees, then raised it by about 15% right before the tenancy started - Upon leaving the place they have asked for additional fees for references as well, which basically leaves us without an option. For the service they have given us this is absolutely horrendous value for money.
