Absolutely shocking estate agent. We've had the unfortunate pleasure of having to rent through them for nearly three years. They've treated us awfully, been ridiculously rude, entered our property without permission, if anything would break in the property they would act as if it was coming out of their own wages and try everything to blame us. ** are the rudest, most unprofessional people you could come across. Agent showed up at last moment, looking a mess and very unprofessional. Showed us the kitchen and garden then sent us on our way. Luckily the current tenant was nice enough to show us round prior to viewing.

Unfortunately the landlord then rented the property privately, making the whole process a waste of my time and effort. Won't be using again.

One star simply because I can't give zero.

I visited their office a couple of weekends ago. The manageress came in at 0900, dumped her bag then promptly locked up and went shopping. She returned at 0920 by which time three people had tried and failed to get in. She then seemed to think that I was being unreasonable by expecting her to be at work during opening hours ("I need to get something for my lunch" - opening hours on Saturday are 0900 to 1300!) and that it was my fault that I'd sent stuff to the wrong email address. I pointed out that it was on her firm's website, she doubted me and then had to use Google to find the Yellow home page. This, I remind you, is the manageress of the branch.

The email address on their website is out of date so anyone using it won't get through to them. The 'Contact Us' function doesn't work with any versions of Internet Explorer greater than IE8 or with any other browser (the software appears to have been written in 2008 - right click on it and 'Inspect Element' and look at the file location in the top line?) so anyone contacting them through the Internet is not going to get a reply because the firm won't see it. I have tested this, sent an email and, much to my lack of amazement, they didn't answer. When I asked the manageress about this, she again implied that it was my fault. "Nobody else has complained." No, because nobody else has been able to get in touch with you TO complain!!!

We have carried out significant upgrading at the house since the original photos were taken. Yellow agreed to come out and take new pictures to reflect better the true state of the house. Nothing has happened.

This is without doubt the worst service I have ever received from any agent in over 40 years as a tenant, landlord, home owner or vendor - and in that time I have dealt with well over twenty. The level of incompetence is beyond belief, and tonight, sixteen days after she agreed that the email address on the (her!!!) website is wrong, the incorrect one is still showing.

Oh, and in the two months that we've had the house on sale with them (not for much longer!) we have had absolutely no communication from them.

How do firms like this stay in business???

The service with this estate agents has been appalling, i moved out of my property over a month ago, they have only contacted me once (after i contacted them first(email)) since then, and they haven't even mentioned my security deposit, which is the best part of £1000!
They haven't responded to the claim submitted through the DPS either, I'm now having to fork out for a solicitor to sign a statutory declaration form to get any of my deposit returned.

don't believe their literature they state they will call you weekly, they do not. I had friends call stating their requirements which my property would match but they failed to mention it they only mentioned properties on with more than one agent and/or been on for a long time. Once you sign the service plummets
