We have just vacated a property let by your move, and are appalled and disgusted at the service we have received. Staff at this and the exmouth branch have been rude, argumentative, patronising and insulting throughout our tenancy and especially during check out. After informing the agents that we would not be renewing our tenancy, they bombarded us with requests to complete a renewal contract anyway, and refused to believe that we were not renewing, despite us having told at least two separate colleagues. Throughout the tenancy, whenever we reported a problem caused by wear and tear, instead of working with us to have the problem resolved, the agents instead spent significant effort trying to force us to admit fault that the shoddy fixtures had inevitably broken. None if these issues were ever addressed or resolved during our tenancy, and we fully expect the agents to try and take money from our deposit to repair these In addition, when we expressed interest in having a dog on the property, which the landlord was amenable to, the agents coerced us into pressure washing parts of the property (at no small cost to ourselves) in order to allow this. They did so because when the landlord asked us if this pressure washing had been done prior to our move in, we answered honestly with a no. Again, despite our having regularly cleaned and pressure washed the outdoor area, we expect the agent to deduct money from our deposit to pay for this to be done again (even though they probably won't actually do it).
I could go on, but I will end with one final example. We left the property in difficult circumstances (corona) and were sadly let down by our cleaners at the last minute, and had no choice but to leave the house in a less than perfect state. We returned to collect the last of our belongings and clean up, and the agent that checked us out took no heed of our apologies and explanations for the state, preferring instead to insult our intelligence, maturity and honesty.
In short, I would rather live in a cave than rent a property through this agency again.

Comments on Agent Fees
The agent fees were £240 each, for 5 people. And we've had literally zero service. I cannot explain how much off a rip off this was.

I am one person in a group of students attempting to rent a property from Yourmove. Attempting is the right word because we have had to do all of the work. The level of disorganisation is embarrassing. We haven't had a single email from the company despite paying over £1200 in agent fees. I am frankly furious that, months after organising to rent the property, we haven't received a single email or phone call. We have initiated every point of contact. We were forced to fill out immense and cubersome guarantor forms, which a seperate company administered, by the way their spelling and grammar was below what I would expect of a child. Despite having jumped through every hoop they have still failed to make contact with the guarantors or send us any information regarding the property what soever. I am disgusted. As far as I can tell they have done no work at all, the guarantors have had to call them for the privilege of giving out personal information, then had to drive miles to the nearest branch to sign forms which have not been explained.

Arranged a viewing for a 1 bedroom flat in Fore Street in Exeter. I was told to wait for someone to show me the flat at 12.30. I arrived at 12.30 and there was no one there, so I called up the office who told me to wait. 10 minutes and 2 calls later, I was told that I should knock on the door, as their agent was waiting me inside. I knocked the door, but there was no response. I called again and they told me they would contact me. I waited and called them again. My first call was not picked up and my second call at 12:55 was met with a very hostile person on the other end who told me that 'they had agreed a letting and that the property is no longer available'.
I was all this time in front of the property, and I have takes pictures that prove this, and I will be filing an official complaint against the company. Terrible service, terrible attitude. These people should be shut down. I guess I should have checked their ratings first...
