Made an offer on a house listed with them and they actively encouraged gazumping. They allowed viewings after the offer had been accepted and encouraged us to outbid each other, ultimately resulting in 5 total offers when the first one was supposedly accepted by the vendor. Made an offer on a house listed with them and they actively encouraged gazumping. They allowed viewings after the offer had been accepted and encouraged us to outbid each other, ultimately resulting in 5 total offers when the first one was supposedly accepted by the vendor. This is completely disgusting and I would highly recommend anyone looking to make an offer on a property listed with them to reconsider as to not waste your time.

If I could rate Winkworth lower, I would. This is all down to the pathetically poor and unprofessional Property Management "service" managed by A H. If I could rate Winkworth lower, I would. This is all down to the pathetically poor and unprofessional Property Management "service" managed by A H.
A H has no grasp of grammar, the English language or customer service and has never attempted to call us once instead preferring to send badly worded emails ignoring the majority of our queries. We had a broken oven for over 3 weeks, blocked sink which keeps on blocking up and had a 'band aid' temporary fix placed on it and the worst part was refusing to replace extractor fans in the flat... and countless more isues that were ignored until we insisted. I believe that A H forgets that she deals with peoples homes, where they expect to feel comfortable and safe and should take a LOT more care in job as her work affects other peoples day to day life.
Poor and slow service on getting any repairs done by A H and I would recommend you just avoid Winkworth Greenwich all because of A H.

Very unpleasant experience. We put were practically bullied into making an offer on a flat that we had just seen moments ago, they claimed that the place would be rented very soon and that we didn't have even 30 mins to think about it. Eventually we made an offer and then nothing. We texted, we emailed, we called, we emailed again. On the phone they said that they would call us back in a few minutes. Nothing again. We only learned that our offer was declined when they took down the add a few days later and they didn't feel like informing us. We felt unwelcome, all they showed us was disrespect and the worst snob attitude as we were moving in from another country. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Winkworth Greenwich were fantastic. We were buying our first property and these guys were really helpful. We found the flat online and arranged to visit, which they were able to arrange quickly and conveniently.
They kept in close contact through the offer/acceptance stage which was good as we were very nervous.
Once our offer had been accepted they became incredibly good. Despite a couple of issues (solicitors, brokers... Never a good combination) they kept everything moving and provided us a lot of help to get to completion. Overall very happy with the service, and so far (1 day!!!) happy with the property.
