I received an excellent service from Williams and Donovan and would thoroughly recommend them to sell or buy a property. James went above and beyond his job role to ensure that our sale was completed in the shortest time possible. It was such a long chain involved in our sale and there were many obstacles involved but James handled this in a professional manner and took the initiative to be the "go between" with all solictors and agents involved. In the absence of James I could rely on Paul who also did all possible in ensuring the sale / purchase of our property was seamless. All in all Williams and Donovan have a very professional and reliable team ethic and they are one of the best Estate Agents in the area.

We found a new house for sale and arranged a viewing with them all very professional and very promptly handled. We found a new house for sale and arranged a viewing with them all very professional and very promptly handled. We fell in love with it straight away and instructed them to sell our house, and this was achieved within 24 hours of going on the market. We chose them even though we lived in rayleigh and had many closer agents on our doorstep. We had also used them for the sale of our previous house and found them exceptional and quality of service was second to none. Paul always returned our calls and kept us informed of every element of the sale and purchase of our properties. I would like to personally thank Colin Donovan and his team for everything.

I was chasing a house for over 7 months, there were times when i thought it was not going to happen. Paul at Williams & Donovan was awesome with regards to his continual communication and help throughout. A few main stakeholders played a part in me getting my dream house, Paul was one of those people. All i wanted was good honest help and communication which nowadays is a lot to ask for. We went on the market with a couple of agents before coming to Ian. What a marked difference we saw from the Williams and Donovan team when comparing them to the other agents we used! These guys are total professionals. As soon as we joined them we had a lift in the number of people who came to see the property. For each and every viewing, we received good quality feedback. On occassion, when the viewers could not be contacted, Williams and Donovan would still be on the phone to us to let us know that they are still trying to get in touch with the viewers. So every step of the way, we were assured that they were doing all they could.

So every step of the way, we were assured that they were doing all they could.
When we eventually gained the all-important offer and the process was handed over to the solicitors, Williams and Donovan were still part of the process to keep us informed and help ease the process along. We were unfortunate enough to get caught up in the HSBC mortgage problems in 2012 which prolonged the final sale process considerably. However, Williams and Donovan maintained their proactive role in bringing the case to a successful conclusion, keeping the lines of communication open between buyer, seller and solicitors. I would not have wanted any other agent involved during this quite stressful time. I would thoroughly recommend this agent to any friend selling their home.

I had never had much faith in Estate Agents until recently when Williams and Donovan acted as agents for selling our property and buying another one. The service was quick and efficient in the early stages through valuation, advice and arranging the advertisement. Following that we dealt mainly with Paul who was always honest and helpful, he kept us up to date with progress at all stages - acting as a facilitator and go between during negotiations with those involved. He also resolved issues, provided paperwork and kept in touch regularly on moving day so that we all knew what was happening. All in all W&D helped to make a stressful period a little less so for us. If I ever move again I will use this estate agency.

Our property was sold in less than 24 hours. Unfortunately the chain collapsed just before exchange but our estate agent was on hand to put our property back on the market without us losing the property we we're purchasing :-) Our property sold again for the full asking price again within 7 days. ... Our property was sold in less than 24 hours. Unfortunately the chain collapsed just before exchange but our estate agent was on hand to put our property back on the market without us losing the property we we're purchasing :-) Our property sold again for the full asking price again within 7 days. Unlike most agents who would have left everything to the solicitors, Williams & Donovan we're with us every step of the way liaising with everyone involved, solicitors, buyers etc. Dealing with issues when they came up in a professional manner. We'd definatley recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their property within the local area. We're so pleased we choose them over the main rival estate agent, who we purchased our new property through, and only heard from when we put in our offer and then months later just before exchange!

We decided to put our Grade II listed house on the market in 2010 and although the market was extremely bad The Gentlemen at Williams & Donovan took it on with enormous enthusiasm and placed it in their Fine and Country department.They were and are amazing , the photos were so professional and the Brochure looked fantastic. I even had a meeting with a reporter to add my take on my house!. I could always talk to someone if need be and they worked tirelessly to sell my property which they did within a very short time. They followed through until completion and I was so thankful that when I was decided to sell another property (a 2 bedroom flat) I placed it in their capable hands. Again in a very short time the property was sold even though others of the same ilk were not.I can honestly say the guys are the nicest people | have ever had to deal with and cannot recommend them enough. They really do care about their clients!

Having had an unsuccesful experience with another agent we chose Williams and Donovan based on various family and friend referals. I can say we couldn't be happier. What I have realised is that selling a property is not just about placing an advert and getting viewers through the door. The crucial part is putting the deal together not just with your sale but also with the purchase and ensuring that the communication is running up and down the full extent of the chain. Williams and Donovan did this brilliantly ensuring excellent communication and negotation which ensured our sale and purchase ran as smoothly as possible. I will never use another agent. It's also worth noting that something they do very effectively in the current climate is putting a complete chain together even if it means them selling a house that someone else will make commision on in order that all the other sales and purchases happen.

After 12 weeks of disappointment with another agent, Williams & Donovan in Hockley restored our faith in estate agents. They were professional, always available and kept us updated constantly.
