Around one year ago, we were interested in a house and the seller A accepted our offer.
Then after over half a year, almost all the procedures went through, the seller's solicitor stopped replying to our solicitor but reassured that they're sorting the last enquiry out.
After one month, the estate agent contacted us that the seller declined to sell the house and the staff from the estate agent apologised quite sincerely. Someone senior from the estate agent gave some information of a similar property around the same area to us.
We both found this house quite met our expectation so we expressed our interest and the house seller B accepted our offer within one week.
As this house B is a no chain house, we expected the procedures can go through more quickly than last time. However, the enquiries have taken more than four months and there is still two outstanding enquiries. We did try to ask what the last two enquiries were but not getting any response.
William H Brown is a liar as the house B suddenly becomes a chained property during the conveyancing process.

We can thoroughly recommend William H Brown and will do so enthusiastically to family and friends and indeed anyone else who needs to move home. If you need an estate agent who is hard working, efficient, trustworthy, professional and who acts with integrity and gets good results quickly then go with William H Brown. If we have the need for an estate agent again in the future we will go with them for certain.

The matter has been handled throughout by Nicole Kelly and I can only praise her for the way she has approached this matter. From The outset Nicole has been pleasant and supportive and has always offered good advice. On every contact with her she has always explained the processes involved and taken the time and effort to sort out any problems I have encountered. We have received an invoice for more than £6000 for sale of house. This was the contractual figure. The purchaser was not put on touch with us by William Brown. Apart from initial contact and supply of brochure by WB, and email regarding purchaser's offer, their input to the sales process was minimal. The only contact in the last 3 months was the invoice. WB have now told us they were in regular contact with purchaser's solicitor but hadn't liaised with us regarding the sale and didn't appear to be aware of final sale arrangements - only part of the property being sold, evidenced by initial wrong invoice. We would never use them again.

We requested a viewing of this property on 19th December and were advised that the earliest we could view it was 23rd December at 4pm. We asked for an earlier viewing but we're told this couldn't be arranged. We were also advised that there had been no other viewings and none were arranged. We arrived at the agreed time and after 15 minutes rang the agent who said the viewing had been cancelled. When asked why we hadn't been informed they couldn't say. After then being put on hold we were told that a letting had been agreed. Totally unprofessional and no surprise the industry has a bad reputation.
