I contacted Tiger after spotting a property they'd advertised for rent online. I asked if I could view and was told I needed to complete an application form. They emailed the application form through, it's a multipage document asking a lot of questions about income, passport details, bank details, etc, and littered with spelling mistakes.
I completed the form and sent it back same day. Result, heard nothing at all.
I then contacted them again to chase and received and email asking when I had applied, I provided detailed and heard nothing back.
I called them, and spoke with a woman there. No good, made no difference.
All of this is somewhat peculiar, since I called other agencies and they chatted briefly and booked me straight in for viewings.
On the application I noted I'm employed as a company director, six figure income for last 20 years, looking for a place to rent for my girlfriend in which I'll stand as guarantor. My GF is a computer specialist with a good career and higher than average income. In essence, two professionals with one looking to move into the area to live closer to me seeking a long-term (multi-year) rental property.
Overall, I've no idea why their process is so poor. Two different staff involved and yet no meaningful response from either. It's easy for me to ignore this firm and choose another provider. My advice to landlords would be to steer clear - I'm not persuaded this firm is reliable.

As a result, I got a solicitor etc ready ASAP and was told there was a 'higher offer' less than 18 hours later. They then used their sales tactics to try and get me into a bidding war which would then artificially inflate the price and the egos of everyone involved, so I didn't out of principal. I am really unsure why they would accept a offer, get me to commit to a solicitor and then f**k me over like that?
Speaking to a friend who's also been looking to buy previously, this seems to be a common occurrence for Tiger Estates, as he had similar happen to him, but I didn't know of this beforehand, or would have treaded with caution or avoided completely.
I like to try businesses regardless of their bad reviews, but in this case I can see that the bad reviews clearly appear to be warranted.
I hope the estates agent are happy with their with their few extra quid and 2 of my days wasted.
Unfortunately given the monopolistic nature of some estate agents, fortunately much so less nowadays, our paths may begrudgingly have to cross again in future.
I have not used my real name for this review, but I can assure those reading that it's a accurate representation of my recent experience with this company.

Some bossy female from the company pestered us for 2 days trying to persuade us that we didn't need said paperwork, which was utter rubbish. She rang both mine and my partner's mobiles seemingly trying to play us off against one another.

Shocking!! Please do not use. So apparently my offer on this new property wasn't worth submitting!! when I complained to "manager " called me the liar! about this and appeared to hang up on me- though he denies this. I will be reporting this to the Ombudsman- totally unaccepted, I'm a buyer and I'm begging any sellers not use this agent- they feel they have the right to chose who can make offers not the vendor! we have missed out on a home we were willing to pay over the asking price for( I doubt the Vendor wasn't even given that info) because this estate agents seems to think they have the right to choose who they want to sell too!!

Confirm viewings without our approval because "that's what we do" so having numerous people turn up and just walking in without us knowing beforehand. I have rented houses for the last 15 years with out any landlord/letting agent having any issues and recived full bond when I left all properties. Tiger lettings have been and inspected a property I let from them and deemed it all ok with fair wear and tear however after them speaking with the most painful landlord I have ever encountered they dicided to change there report and option witch I think is disgusting practice. To agree with the landlord when you didn't originally just shows what kind of company they are. All they care about is getting the landlords property's in their books for more gain no matter about about the tennant. Called the manger - Ben. Didn't seem to care. Never would I ever rent odeon tiger lettings ever again.

I am an owner of a building and Tiger Estates contracted a sign company to place a sign, however the sign was placed on the wrong building. Despite approx 10 calls to Tiger to ask them to remove the sign keeping in mind they have screwed it to our building causing damage they still have not removed ... Read Full Review
What agent could do to change your mind?
When notifyed the sign was on the wrong building they should have removed with in 24hrs and made good any damage to the building or offered an appoligy and compensation for damage to building and our standing with in the community/ professional reputation. They should have offered to call me back not have me chase them.

I am an owner of a building and Tiger Estates contracted a sign company to place a sign, however the sign was placed on the wrong building. Despite approx 10 calls to Tiger to ask them to remove the sign keeping in mind they have screwed it to our building causing damage they still have not removed the sign. There have been a number of excuses as to why they have not removed, no apology for miss placing the sign or disruption to our service/ business through people thinking we are closing/ moving. No respect to the disruption or cost to us. I am disgusted that they are acting in this way when it is their mistake to rectify. As Tiger contract someone to place the signs i am astounded that they can not ask the company to remove it when i know country wide signs would do so with in 24hrs. Tiger you are not acting professionally and you need to address this issue and make good what you have done wrong. Until you do so i will have to say your company is not one that i would have any professional faith in. I am extremely disappointed.
