These people are just scammers. They put my property on the market. Didn't respond to any emails 3 weeks and there are no viewings. In that time they didn't put a sign at my house saying sale. These people are just scammers. They put my property on the market. Didn't respond to any emails 3 weeks and there are no viewings. In that time they didn't put a sign at my house saying sale. When I went to their offices, my property wasn't even on show in their window or inside. They had pictures of properties with 'SOLD' written on it rather than have my property. As this was suspicious, a friend queried asking details about the property via Rightmove and got no response from Scott Fraser. Their plan was to tell me that there was no interest and then make me drop the price. Then they'd sell it on to a friend. There are minimal houses sale in Oxford and therefore Scott Fraser were actively trying to reduce the price I'll accept. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

We arrived with MULTIPLE breakages and damages including the bathroom window which only got fixed after 2 YEARS! Lived there for 2 years and only some maintenance failures and breakages (that were there at the beginning) were fixed. Garage was falling down and an absolute joke. They asked us to pay a renting membership instead of deposit and when we pulled out to pay the deposit they took 5 months to sort it and wrongly continued to charge us ‘renting membership’. At the end of our time there they had the cheek to charge us with the breakages that were there at the beginning despite evidence of our reports.

The worst agency you can find these days, honestly they will take your deposit everytime don´t bother cleaning or leaving the house in order they will take it anyway. They will make up excuses like "a neighbour told us your garden is in a bad condition" to make you look like a ... Read Full Review

They will make up excuses like "a neighbour told us your garden is in a bad condition" to make you look like a bad tenant, they will try to raise your rent at every chance and they will keep charging overpriced fees. You can report issues on their website but they don´t acknowledge and you will have to email directly two or three times for them to pick up on the issue. Then someone will come around, do a very poor job and you will have to start the whole process again so count with main doors not closing for a week. Toilets leaking for weeks, holes in the rooms and common areas floors for weeks, etc...

My impression of Edward and the rest of the team is that they are friendly, honest and professional. In retrospect, Edward's valuation of the property was actually the most accurate of our three initial consultations with other estate agents too.

I used Scott Fraser to buy a property. I was entirely satisfied with them from the first day of contacting them to arrange a viewing, through to completion several months later. Anna Hardy was very engaged with the sale and always worked to push the process along and to anticipate any potential problems. What agent could do to change your mind?
The price for the sale was good and i didn't mind paying the fees however, the fees charged were above those charged by other estate agents and if i used them again I would negotiate a better rate.
