Left us with floor to ceiling black mould for months while telling us once a week that it would be “fixed this week”. Our front door repeatedly malfunctioned - it came out of alignment with the wall, about three times a year, due to subsidence of the front wall of the house. Saint left us without a working front door for weeks at a time (including a 5 week stint over Christmas and new year).

After we left, Saint conducted their inspection, confirmed they would return our deposit…. and then didn't return our deposit. Eventually after MANY emails and calls from me they returned part of the deposit (without explanation as to why some was missing). It took a further 2 weeks + 7 emails + 3 phone calls to get the rest of the deposit back, despite Saint promising repeatedly that it would be “transferred today”.
Disgraceful

Comments (0)We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank to Megan and her team at Saints estate agents. We first met Jason in October 2019 when we decided to sell our property. Megan planned the photos to be taken professionally of our home before going on the market. We then sold the property with Haart estate agent, but the sale fell through. So, we put the property back on the market in April 2020 with Saints again. Megan went above and beyond to sell our home. She found us a buyer after 2 days of the property being on the market and it even became a bidding war. This buyer was so happy that the offer they put in was accepted by us., Megan was heavily involved throughout the process. She kept us calm and did all the chasing regarding all 3rd parties. Even when the process was getting stressful Megan helped us to stay calm and at ease. She gave us weekly updates just to keep us in the loop of what was going on. We finally completed the sale on the 30th September nearly a year later with no thanks COVID. Saints estate agents are professional and a very friendly business. If we were to sell my house again, I would use Saints without any hesitation. I have referred them to my parents to also sell their property.

I am a former tenant, and I left the property about 1 month ago.
I was a bit scared regarding the check out, beacuse of the bad ratings but I was positively surprised.
In less than one month Saint Property Service returned almost the entire value of the deposit.
They only discounted 40,00 as they suggest the house wasn't cleaned. Well, I received the house totally dirty, but, as I didn't want to argue, I accepted.
Also my last report regarding the Hob not working, wasn't attended.
For this 2 reasons I don't give them 5 stars.
Positive points:
- Great communication
- Fast email replies
- Honest
- Usually they respond to the reported issues (as I said, except my last one..)
I recommend this agency and suggest Alex / Curtis as point of communication.

When I questioned them on the phone they lied to me about completing work that had not been done. It was only through direct contact from my tenant that found out that there were issues. The point of using a letting agent is that they look after things to give me peace of mind. This lot have done the opposite, and are causing me considerable stress. AVOID

TOTALLY BAD SERVICE:
Had been renting this property for over 10 years. Saint Property Services became the 5th letting agent in my long tenancy.
They did not register the property with Nottingham City Council .
Had a few issues Oven blow up Twice both time had to wait over 3 months to have it replaced. Problem with electric supply to oven given shocks.
Reported to boiler not working properly the sent engineer who said it was old and needed replacing took 4 months before a new one was installed.
Never had a signed contract with Saint Property Services name on the rental agreement they were still using an old agreement from a former Letting agent.
Reported the bathroom ceiling having cracks in it nothing was done about it. the ceiling came through in Feb 2019 due to leaking roof. Landlord then decided to sell the property and Saint have done nothing to help us.
My wife who is disabled, 3 children and myself have been homeless since 18th Sep 2019.
took 2 months to get my deposit less £50 which they are claiming for professional oven cleaning as which i have not got back from them.

Over two years after the last tenant left the property I am still chasing the rent which Saint Property Services Limited collected but did not pass on. They have paid very little of the amount owing and have now stopped the payments. This is a very short account of what has actually been a very long drawn out saga. The management at the company is nonexistent and they constantly lie.

Took possession of my tenants' deposits and neglected to register with deposit protection scheme. On vacation of tenants they then instructed them on how to sue ME for not registering their deposits. When I tried to contact them to resolve things they refused to speak to me, rejected calls and ignored emails until my only option was to walk into their office and see them face to face, at which point the manager hid in the back and made someone from a different team fob me off. Absolutely hideous experience. I've rarely been so disgusted at someone's behaviour.

Keep out of this letting agency!
They wouldn't give me back my deposit until I threatened to sue (and yes, I had had confirmation in writing that they would release it entirely).
On the day I was supposed to have the keys, the house was not ready, and I had to rearrange the move with the moving company.
Whatever problem there was in the apartment, they were useless - for example, it took 3 weeks to fix a broken boiler, during which I had to enjoy no heating and cold showers.
When renewing the tenancy agreement, they were late on every appointment even though I would say beforehand I would come in my launch break and I would need to go back to work.
Avoid if you can!

This is possibly the rudest company I have ever had the experience of working with. Apart from lack of transparency, the owner and those who work with him are very pushy. They're very keen to take your money, but they do not respond to formal complaints, the do not uphold the legal requirements within the lease they signed, and they press you to do what they want you to do. When I told the owner about them breaking their side of the lease, he sent me a chain of emails telling me that I'm pathetic and ridiculous, because I refused to give him a key to my property for viewings while I was away. It is not a legal requirement for them to have a key to my home, and telling me I'm pathetic and ridiculous is uncalled for. On top of this, they expect you to be willing to let them have access for viewing on their schedule when selling a home if you are letting with them, including changing your work schedule to allow them access. I'd be weary of renting anything that Saint property is letting unless you want to be treated very badly. Take your hard earned money to a place that doesn't treat you like scum and call you bad names through email

Lived in a rental property where we had numerous issues with flooded kitchens, damp, no functioning fire alarms and an unsealed boiler. All problems reported to Saints immediately but they clearly did not want to spend any money on upkeep of the property. When we left the property they continued to take rent payments for another two months and it has taken 3 and a half months for them to refund this excess and our deposit. Each time we contacted them 'it will be sorted tomorrow' only for them to hide from their emails for the following fortnight.

I've been using Saint managed services for the past three years on my rental property. Initially they were quite good and found decent tenants. The actual management side of things was poor and continues to be. For example I would have to chase for rental statements regularly. My most recent experience was when the tenants left. Bills weren't paid for, the check out process was very poor; broken taps, broken toilet, overgrown garden was not picked up by the agent. They even lied saying the garden had been done after I specifically asked if it had been tended to. My tenants left in June this year they let my house buy but didn't do the garden. I went to my property on the off chance I was horrified that the garden was so overgrown and damaged not picked up. Months later they still haven't done the garden. I've complained to the owner beginning of September and had no reply to date. I'm now going to be terminating my service, if you can call it that and refer the matter to the Ombudsman. I've been letting my property for the past 15 years and this agency is by far the worse one so far.

I went to my property on the off chance I was horrified that the garden was so overgrown and damaged not picked up. Months later they still haven't done the garden. I've complained to the owner beginning of September and had no reply to date. I'm now going to be terminating my service, if you can call it that and refer the matter to the Ombudsman. I've been letting my property for the past 15 years and this agency is by far the worse one so far.

I've been using Saint managed services for the past three years on my rental property. Initially they were quite good and found decent tenants. The actual management side of things was poor and continues to be. For example I would have to chase for rental statements regularly. My most recent experience was when the tenants left. Bills weren't paid for, the check out process was very poor; broken taps, broken toilet, overgrown garden was not picked up by the agent. They even lied saying the garden had been done after I specifically asked if it had been tended to. My tenants left in June this year they let my house buy but didn't do the garden.
