I have another review on a persistent rodent Infestation that the company refused to sort out for 2 weeks, despite being told by someone that a contractor would be out within 24 hours
BUT ALSO I have had someone claiming to be the landlord knock my door wanting to show someone around the flat. I wasn't given notice of this and when I informed the office, they were not at all concerned that they didn't know this man, that he wasn't the landlord, and that he has been hanging around the property for weeks.
Also, my coin electricity meter was changed while I was out of town and the landlord lied to the office and said I was present for the install, that I had been shown how to use it. Complete LIES as I was out of town for 2 weeks and came back to my fridge freezer defrosted with rotten food. I was told over a month ago that I would be reimbursed for the money in the generator that was just wiped away, but not heard a thing.
ALSO a selling point of the viewings before I moved in was that the communal washer and dryer for the flats was kept running by the landlord who would top up the meter. Lies again. The tenants are the only ones who do it.
This company is a scam and a money grab, it feels like

I was manipulated by the company and the private company they insisted to go with, with both of them saying it was my fault. I moved into the property in mid-January 2024 and I was blamed for my unpacked boxes attracting the mice. I had to stay in hotels as I had 6 dead mice and multiple live mice in my property, but I wa refused reimbursement and any waiving or the rent. The maintenance team said the property was

I used Peter Alan to manage my property for years but wish that i had not. I only stayed with them as i was out of the country but the service just got worse and worse...communication was terrible, staff were rude, despite paying for a service you felt as if they were doing you a favour!!
They did not seem at all interested in the property, hardly dealt with the same member of staff so service was very poor. I rent in another country so i am aware of what good managing agents work like.
Had to contact them for inspection reports. They held on to repair money for 9 months before carrying out the repair. A terrible experience overall. I recommend that you use another service!

Absolutely gutted to have been told a property for rent wasn’t ready for viewings and that we would have a phone call when it was, then drove past to show my partner the outside to see that there was people in there having a viewing. Then we was able to go in and have a look and told them we were interested and they said they would get back to us the next day as there was others also interested. Then I rung today to be told an offer had been accepted and they just hadn’t let us know. We feel like we’ve completely missed out on the chance of a great property and if we hadn’t have drove past by luck we would have been waiting on a phone call that never came.

My property has been in the market with Peter Alan in the past 4 months. In the last 4 months I have been asked to drop down the sale price 3-4 times which I have agreed to do it once. Problem after problem is all they have caused. They misadvise just to make your face smile, then when it comes to actually dealing with it they do nothing or blame the tenants.
I complained over and over again about the increase in mould, nothing was done. Then when I end my tenancy they try take money out of my bond to cover the mould and say they have no proof of me ever complaining? Awful.
My house came without curtains or blinds, fully open windows. We were told that we could put curtains up because they obviously needed covering. Oh wait, apparently no proof of that either, so more money out of our bond for a CURTAIN HANGER.
I am just utterly shocked at how awful their service is. There could be a mansion for £500 pcm and I still would not go for it if it was with this company.
