Avoid this agency!!!! Protect your safety and money! Glenn Jacobs left 3 people homeless at 7pm the night before they were due to move in despite guarantors being processed by paragon and meeting all criteria and deposits paid. Reassurance given all was fine the day and weeks before. One of the three is a young woman who is now homeless in London in a pandemic. Scary people like this are allowed to run agencies this poor.

DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. Despite 3 of us paying to hold a Next Home property and passing our guarantor reference details, we experienced incessant delays and poor communication for almost a month. Then, despite reassurance the week (AND DAY) before of everything being fine, we were then informed THE EVENING BEFORE MOVING out of our previous tenancy that things had suddenly changed and we could no longer move in. They blamed the referencing agents, who in turn when we called them said they couldn't get hold of the agency multiple times. We are now homeless and sofa surfing until we find somewhere else. Disgraceful treatment. Zero stars not possible sadly. DO NOT USE.

I then called and emailed informing them and was assured they'd pass the message on and if any issues would get back in touch. As soon as we got a buyer I called and was again greeted with the same gent on the phone rudely informing me they'd sold the property to someone else. No communication, discussion etc.
I would definitely avoid this agency at all costs. Their service and manner are both questionable. They lack the ability to communicate and really have messed us around from the start.

As a tenant i have been very happy with the service i received.
Glenn was so helpful and really went above and beyond for us, he was great at arranging viewings for us and really helped us understand the whole process as first time tenants.
Shannon is great to deal with for any maintenance issues - she comes back to you asap.
Whenever i have called the office - the team have always been very professional and helpful
I would highly recommend - thanks again.

High Fees in relation to the poor quality service provided. Paid £200.00 fee for an inventory report to be completed and 20 days after moving in I am still waiting for the document to review it.

My experience with Next Homes Ltd has been appalling from start to present. From the beginning arranging a second viewing so my partner could view the property it was impossible, I was told on two occasions that we will be contacted with a suitable date and time for it to take place. Unfortunately, that never happened, so we were forced to pay the holding deposit without the option of my partner even viewing it.
Once we secured the property, we signed the offer letter with the condition of the property being FULLY furnished and with the move in date for the 5th January. Unfortunately, neither of those were met. Although the offer was made and accepted before Christmas, the referencing company only contacted us on the 2nd January. Swiftly we completed the referencing and after meeting the landlord we agreed to change to movie in date to the 12th January instead in order for the property to be cleaned and painted.
We were meant to sign the contract at 12:00pm on the 12th, unfortunately, the had not received the contract back from the landlord and therefore, I had to cancel all deliveries that I had arranged for that evening due to the uncertainty of not knowing of when we will be finally moving in. Luckily in the end, the contract appeared and we were able to sign it.
After finally moving in, we found various issues at the property, such as a leak in the kitchen sink, a major pipe blockage, damp and mould in the bedroom, broken kitchen cupboards, etc. I have reported this issues verbally and via e-mail to the agents and I haven't heard back from them not even once in the 20 days we have lived at the property. I haven't been able to report this to the landlord directly because although I have requested his contact details, the agents won't release it to us. Moreover, not only I have reported maintenance matters, also we requested the account details where the rent should be paid into and neither have received their response with that information.
In conclusion, not only they are not looking after the tenants interest but neither their client, the landlord. I will not recommend their services to no one, PLEASE AVOID.

It was nice to deal with an estate agent where service was their primary objective as I was kept informed through out unlike the usual stigma that comes with estate agents. I would 100% recommend this firm and Glenn.

I would first of all, like to thank Glenn for his hard work in both selling and letting out different properties of mine. He is always on the other end of the phone and always very receptive. He is very trustworthy in this ‘minefield' of a property market we currently find ourselves involved in. My life was upside down. No where to live. Wore soles off my feet, up down the streets. Till one day my niece called Peter and Glenn who sorted me out with a lovely 1 bed flat full of sunshine, all brand new inside. My home at last. As an elderly woman, I sold my house in Chester and was looking to move closer to my family and was all set until an agent in Shoreditch let me down and kept £650 of my money. Peter then helped me regain my money!
