Avoid this company like the plague. I've used this company in the past and had dealings with their Group Managing Director John Lipper who fraudulently swindled £15k from me and my tenant and was going to declare himself bankrupt until I ended up taking him to court. The judge ordered him to pay the funds he owed us but failed to pay so we dragged him back into court within 28 days before threatening to freeze his accounts and got our money. He is untrustworthy and do not trust this company. They went by Madison Brook before but now changed their name by adding international at the end of it. Do not trust this company unless you wanted to be frauded by them.

WORST property agents of UK.
I rented a property from Madison Brook in March 2021 and they hid most of the information about flat maintenance etc and once deposit was taken then they shared that all maintenance of flat is responsibility of landlord only and Madison is not involved in any service or help and they didnt even help to chase landlord for repairs. Such a liar suited-booted agents they have (especially JOSHUAH EAGLE.)

Moving house after over 30 years was a daunting process for us. We asked 4 agents to come in with a view to marketing our property. We chose MB as their Manager Joe came across as professional, knowledgeable and helpful with a cheerful disposition. He promised regular updates along the way and was always at the end of the phone. Our house was sold to the first people to view it so we had no time wasters. We were recommended a Solicitor by MB (Bindman & Co) and they are brilliant - completely on the ball and worked closely with Joe and the team. The stressful parts of moving were all caused further up the chain but MD did their best to keep us updated along the way. A completely professional company - thank you

Suggestions:
Is it possible to deduct 10% fee mmonthly, not at once? Because it could be different circumstances.And if tenant cancels a contract, we will loose money for your commission without receiving incinerators from tenant.

This was good and made the process quite simple for us, including things like suggesting a solicitor to use. Adam kept in touch regularly and kept us well informed on progress.
The process took a long time although this was mainly due to the vendor's solicitor. This did not bother us much since we were buying to let the property and were not waiting to move in.
Due to the delays, another member of Madison Brooks staff became involved on behalf of the vendor, who he referred to as 'his client' inferring that we were not also his client, and we found his input very negative. He pushed our solicitor, without copying us, by threatening more than once that the whole sale would fall through if our solicitor did not move faster. This added stress to the process for us. We felt this unfair given that the main delays came from the vendor.
However, apart from the input from this additional staff member, we found Madison Brook very good and we are now using them as our management agents with Adam as our main contact.
