I have tried to resolve issues about a tenancy with Linley & Simpson for 8 months.

I have tried to resolve issues about a tenancy with Linley & Simpson for 8 months.
I vacated their property on 25th February 2023 after going through Domestic Abuse last year (2022) for 8 months. I did what I needed to do, which is give notice and explained why I had to leave.
8 months on they still have refused to remove my name and that of my son from their records and not given me back my deposit. I have been ignored numerous times and still being ignored. My emails go unanswered. They don’t seem to care as long as my name and that of my son appears on their system as responsible for a property I am not living in. If our names were not on the system they would move in 4 weeks to get a name on the system of the person living in the property.
I have been trying to move on with my life, but Linley & Simpson couldn’t care less. The stress has even landed me in hospital for 10 days

Do not patronise this agent for house rental.
I rented a house via this agent for 1 year (4/11/2021-3/11/2022) . I picked up the key from their office during the office hours from the beginning. However, they asked me to check out the house and return the key to their office on 3 Nov 2022. I told them that our agreement should be including the night of 3rd. They replied me that I can keep the house up to midnight and I must return the key to them before midnight (11:59pm on 3 Nov 2022). They also sent me an email and told me that I will be charged if I return the key to their office on 4 Nov. In this case, I want to ask them if I can get the key at midnight (00:01am on 4 Nov 2021) last year. I think that I can return the key to their office on 4 Nov during the office hours which is fair to me. I share my opinion to all of you, I hope no one is deceived again by this agent.

I honestly can't recommend these guys at all. First off we were delayed even putting the house on the market as the valuer believed the house to be ideal for him to purchase. I honestly can't recommend these guys at all. First off we were delayed even putting the house on the market as the valuer believed the house to be ideal for him to purchase. Two weeks later and we were on the market after the valuer decided no. The reasons given we then repeatedly thrown up as blockers by other potential buyers. Second, we had to chase for any sort of update constantly throughout the process. Very little information was volunteered without pressure from us. Once we eventually agreed a sale (after a significant price reduction), our buyer went cold and when we asked multiple times for him to be chased so we could complete we were told no in case it made him pull out. For the sake of anyone else who uses Linley & Simpson, I hope we got the bad apples.
