It was being sold with planning permission for a large extension and I knew straight away that Oliver could see the vision, and that he and the team would be able to portray this effectively to all potential buyers.

The interest and buzz the team were able to generate and deal with was impressive with 2 large open houses, which led to 5 offers over the guide price. Both Andrew and Oliver were very happy to meet and discuss in detail all aspects of the sales process, throughout the duration of the sale. The personal touch from both was reassuring throughout. I have since recommended them to many of my friends and neighbours in the area. Highly recommended.

We have used Knight and Rennie three times now. I find their approach to selling houses refreshing - you are kept up to date with feed back from viewings, you are given useful advice about how best to present your property, the staff are friendly, excellent at their jobs and fun - which is important through all the stress that selling your home puts on you, but most importantly, they are superb at selling houses. This time they were amazing - we had an open house on the Saturday and three excellent offers by the Wednesday. They get the right people through the door and don't mess about bumping up the numbers for appearances. The staff all seem to be familiar with you - so if someone if off, someone else can step in to answer questions and get things done. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The staff I have dealt with have always maintained a professional yet friendly attitude, whilst being incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Any maintenance issues with properties I have rented have been rectified quickly and efficiently, with Knight and Rennie dealing with the landlords. I sold my property through Knight & Rennie in Leamington Spa and bought through their Kenilworth office. I absolutely love their pragmatic approach and their unwavering view on the bottom line. I had to pay my fees upfront in cash, with no option of card and would have preferred the card option (at the Kenilworth branch). However, so far I feel the estate agent fees have been well spent with excellent service. I hope their quality of service continues.

Making the move from my current property (with a very difficult and uncooperative landlord and estate agent), I found a property with Knight and Rennie and found them to be a breath of fresh air. So far (as I haven't moved in yet), they have been very helpful, polite, and prompt with replying/documentation. After a negative experience previously, I was nervous of moving to another estate agent for fear of the same treatment. But Maggie in particular has been nothing but understanding and kind. Looking forward to having them as my new landlord/estate agent. Plan on staying in the new property for a long period.

agent arrived 11:10 mon 16th dec 2013,stayed approx. five minutes,didnt seem interested in us or our property,did a very quick tour of our house didnt ask any questions,didnt sit down and talk to us on a one to one bases or explain how the selling procedure works,didnt leave any information or brochures,unlike the two other PROFESSIONAL estate agents who were crabb Curtis and complete estate agents who seemed to be bending over backwards in helping us sell our house,we were promised a valuation within 24 to 48 hours and as off todays date we have not heard a thing from Andrew james, for which we think is disgusting and very unprofessional,he even left my wife deflated and upset and paranoid to the extent that we would like an apology....I look forward to hearing your explanation and comments as to why we were treated like this..matt and sue

What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have turned up to the appointment, or called me back, or emailed me back.

As a prospective letting customer I would assume they would be trying to get the property rented asap, and I was very interested in the property. I even emailed to again try to get a response, to see if the agent just forgot the meeting, bit again nobody has got back to me.

Our property sold very quickly when it went on the market and the feedback was always given quickly and was honest. Unfortunately, our originally sale fell through when our buyers pulled out at the point of exchange. Whilst this was very upsetting at the time, before we knew it, within days knight and rennie had sold our house again. Throughout this time, Victoria worked tireless on the sale, chasing up the solicitors etc. and she also
helped us to secure our onward purchase, offering valuable advice. Nothing could have prevented our sale from falling through and even though it was very stressful time, we had no doubt that our house would be sold again.ÂÂ

As a first time buyer the prospect of buying a house is rather daunting and like the majority of everybody else it will be the most amount of money i will ever spend so i should hope to be entitled to take as long as i need to view a potential property....so to hear 'Hurry up i've got to be somewhere at 5pm!' is greatly off-putting not to mention rude!
Our first time viewing the property the estate agent went off to slouch against the living room radiator for the entire viewing on his mobile phone, no interest to inform us about the house at all
Then on our second viewing with a different member of staff the 'selling' part of their job was again non existent, we wanted to know about the loft space but they told us 'We don't do lofts'... which i was slightly concerned about, and the neighbours? 'Pft! i'd have to ask'.
Then we asked about the offer that someone had put in and we were told it was the asking price?!… why this wasn't mentioned to us on the phone i don't know (It would have saved a lot of trouble and stress) so we mentioned that we wouldn't be able to offer the asking price so we will leave it, to which we were told abruptly 'Well no, you don't know what will happen!'.
The communication on the phone is equally as annoying.
Useless!
I wish the owners of the house knew how Knight Rennie were 'selling' their house, i sure would never use them!

Full details of my offer were not passed on to vendor, misleading information provided regarding fees. Currently compiling a complaint to the Property Ombudsman as they stubbornly refuse to accept any liability.
Avoid Knight & Rennie, stick to the better estate agents situated on the Parade. Connells and Wiglesworth were far more professional in my previous house moves.
