My brother and I recently needed to sell a family property in the Kirby Stephen area of Westmorland. J R Hopper & Co were recommended by friends who had dealt with them previously and Leeselle Wren from the Kirby Stephen office took on our valuation and we subsequently appointed them to market the property. From day one the Hopper team were on the and at no time did we feel things were dragging and once we had a potential purchaser they (and in particular Leeselle) supported the process at every turn. Both of us not living in the locality meant asking Leeselle to assist with resolving precontract enquiries issues and identifying local contractors to carry out electrical survey work and ultimately clear the property. This she did and these matters were resolved in good time. We have no hesitation in recommending that anyone selling property seriously consider appointing J R Hopper & Co to act on their behalf.

I thought Estate Agents were all about photos, viewings and price...well of course they are, but I now know that the real measure of an Agent is how well they look after you once all that's done.
Hoppers have been nothing short of amazing from start to finish - fabulous photos, great valuation advice and lots of wellmanaged viewings...and when negotiations got tricky they simply went up a gear and advised me exactly how to keep things on track. Being able to put my trust in their expertise was hugely reassuring at a stressful time, I felt very well looked after and also that they cared about getting the sale us, because of what it meant to us, not just their commission. Ours was a small house, so not huge money them, but they behaved as we were their best customers; Leeselle and Pam - my main contacts - were supportive, professional and kind in equal measure, Alice's photos were exceptional, and Alison and Brian who led many of the viewings are also masters at their craft...they knew exactly how to encourage prospective buyers, what to say and when to leave well alone. Everyone in the office was equally diligent, even I only dealt with them once, nothing was too much trouble. JR Hoppers are absolutely on top of their game, and you won't find better.

We highly recommend J.R Hopper estate agents. We had been looking several months and finally found our dream home. The viewings were with Leeselle, she was kind, patient and well informed about the propertyarea. Nothing was too much trouble and we were never rushed.
The sale was overseen by Pam, she communicated brilliantly, saw obstacles coming and made sure she did everything she could to help get the sale through. Despite our worries, she calmly helped us navigate the journey.

From beginning to end of our property sale, Hoppers were excellent. After just three viewings, the property sold and the vendors wanted a quick completion which was achieved.
