Jackson green and Preston of Grimsby UK, used to be a good estate agents. Now the staff seem to have developed such a ridiculous pompous attitude.
Ultimately it's a shop acting as a middle person selling property.
The previous directors and staff were great, normal people.
I recognise that estate agents are as reviled businesses and seem to live in a self important bubble.
That said,, for sure the previous people were nice and dare I say straight forward for an estate agency.
If you engage them,,, read their contract, which appears to have been written in the 18 century.

I have been a tenant with JGP for over two years now and I cannot fault them after having a very bad experience with another letting agent I was very anxious but JGP, particularly Karen and my landlord have been nothing short of amazing anything we have asked to be done in the house they have gone above and beyond to fix and update the home we rent. The staff are always warm, polite and courteous whenever we speak to them and have always been helpful had we run into any problems. It is rare that a company takes care of their customers as well as JGP have taken care of us.

Hi all. I want to make you familiar with my case. One hour after they posted a house for rent, I called and requested a view of the property. They sent me and email with the application. I filled it up and resent it back to them. They replied after a minute. The email says that they will call me to arrange viewing and will stop all other applications because i was first and because of the huge interest i have on the property( I really showed it on my email). I was waiting for a week, nobody called me so i decided to do so. A man accepted the call, i explained to him. He said that im dealing with Samantha and she is not there at the moment. I said Okay, ask her to call me when she is there. He said okay and i hanged up on him. After one more week i started worrying so went to the office in Grimsby. I told them why i am there, and the woman went inside, she was speaking with someone. She went out and told me sorry the house is viewed and taken. I was really dissapointed, I just told them that they need to do their job properly and i went out. This is my case with these agents. I am 100% sure that is because i am not English, this is proper discrimination. I dont blame them for that! But they could have just called me to tell me. I was going to look for different house in that time. My son is now studying Business Level 2 at college and this is proper example on how you must not run your business... Mind it before you apply for a house, especially if you are foreigner. Thank you.

Myself and my ex wife put our property for sale with Jackson Green & Preston from 2010 to 2014 and in year 2014 they wanted us to reduce the sale price by just over �15000? We refuse then they remove the property from the market and they send us the bill for �540, now they taking us to court and they threatening to put charge on the property? They are no good at all as Estate agent for renting or selling properties, they just take their customers to court if they have any issues with them to charge them for anything and everything.

Very professional agent, have used a few in the past and Jackson Green & Preston are by far the best I've used will only go through them to sell in the future. Staff were very friendly and helpful, had viewings as soon as my property went on the market and had acceptable offers within the first 3 days. Fees are very reasonable and happy to pay them with the amount of work and effort they put in to selling my property stress free for me. Highly recommend!

I have nothing but praise, they do a great job for both the landlord & tenants, (none of whom have complained) I have used several letting agents over the years & they are far superior to any other
When I come to selling my properties you can be sure that it will be through Jackson Green & Preston, you only have to drive around Grimsby, Cleethorpes & the surrounding villages & look at the amount of JG&P for Sale & Sold signs to see I am not the alone in choosing a very professional & well-run company.

They are now trying to pursue me for the cost which I have argued are unfair. They did not want to discuss the invoice amounts some of which I am happy to pay but instead have bulldozed ahead with court proceedings.
Arrogant, Unprofessional, not negotiable attitudes- AVOID.
