Vacated my property nearly 2 months ago, still not recieved my owed rent or deposit back! They ignore all communication and convieniantly the bell at the shop doesn't work! Damage at the property was never fixed and constant excuses of illness when they eventually do get back to you! Never will I ever use or recommend this joke estate agents for people to let a property from! Nothing but stress and anxiety from them and left in debt over christmas!

I rue the day I ever handed HEA my property to manage. The stress they caused over the years was unbelievable. They refuse to answer their phones, they fail to pay rent on time. They make every excuse possible for their incompetence. You have to chase and chase to get your rent off them and they hardly ever pay it within a month. If you ring the office you're wasting your time. If you email, you're wasting your time. They give excuses about illnesses, office closed, not being in the office and more. If you get annoyed with them for not replying to emails they say you are upsetting THEM! I cannot stress this enough... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

They have managed a rental property of mine for a number of years and I have had constant battles with them over payment (or non payment), repairs and general communication. The rent from the tennants goes to them, without fail on the 23rd of every month but they then withhold the money and i may not see a payment for 8 weeks!! This is unacceptable and hits ME in the pocket!! I email, I call, I leave messages, I have been into store a dozen times - - no call back - no reply to emails - no apology - no answers - no communication
You watch programs on TV about rogue tenants and as a landlord, you expect an agent to take the stress out of managing your property, not increase it by being ânightmare estate agentsâ
Still looking for a resolution to this but as nobody wants to talk, it's proving a little difficult to say the least!!
Absolutely terrible - avoid!

9 weeks have passed since I vacated one of the properties that HEA reside over, and I have still yet to see my deposit. Proof of final bill payments was sent across promptly and confirmed by the staff there but not a single word on my deposit return. Been told several stories at this point over the 9 weeks; ranging from "deposit has been transferred" to "It'll be in your account this week" - Obviously none have come to fruition. I wouldn't mind if there was a dispute of some kind, but there isn't. The Landlord has confirmed that there is nothing wrong and the staff have also confirmed this. They never call back when they say they will, they rarely respond to emails, and they routinely dodge incoming calls. I can't speak for sales, but the lettings side is by far the worst I've ever dealt with. General advice for anyone thinking of letting from them is to stay away.

Disappointed doesn't cut it said about House Estate Agents

I can't speak for sales, but without doubt this is one of the worst letting agents I have ever come across. Surprised they are still in business to be honest. Their only saving grace is the phone manner of their receptionist/admin people. Unfortunately, that is where the praise ends. Repairs, inspections, deposit - no matter what area of the business you need, everything is so atrociously organised it's laughable.
I had to phone up constantly to ensure work was being done, and when they inevitably didn't carry it out, excuses were made in place of solutions. Worst of all though, they frequently lied to my landlord - so much so that we ended up sorting out issues between ourselves. Very concerning when you consider how much they charge for management.
Don't even get me started on the deposit. They are more than happy to accept your money, but as soon as it comes to end of tenancy, they don't want to know. It takes literally two minutes to do a transfer and yet it took nearly two months to get mine back, when proof of utilities were sent in promptly, the property was left in top condition (even praised by landlords) and the new tenants were in! Absolute disgrace.
