Having dealt with several management companies, over my years of living in London, Dauntons has to be the worst. One of the biggest complaints is the lack of transparency over expenditure. My wife rented a property through Dauntons; the flat was apparently also owned by one of the management there. When we left the property we received many unreasonable deductions, some of which ran contrary to the inventory 'check out' report. They were poorly organised and did not return calls... For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
