This company is awful, has never met any type of standard of customer care and does NOT give a damn about it's properties not the residents.

Really can’t even describe how terrible this agency is. DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY THEY MANAGE. No matter how nice or how good the price you will regret it. No replies, rude office staff, repairs never done or by terrible cowboy builders/plumbers who leave everything a mess, damp throughout which never gets fixed, damages to property left untreated, will not give you your deposit back. Honestly I can’t even begin to describe how bad they are. For example the upstairs flat flooded leaving water damage in my flat which did not get fixed for 5 months despite constant chasing. Eventually a cowboy plumber came round who was told he had to replace half the bath surround… so the damage never got fixed. Just do not ever rent a property from them they are a disgrace.

I would give no stars if I could. The worst company I have to deal with, and that's saying something considering I have to deal with so many different service companies as part of my job. The over charging for every single thing is horrific, which is increasing exponentially year on year, along with charges for things we don't even have. This coupled with their lack of response to any communication if incredibly frustrating to say the least! Also, the extreme cost of works with such poor outcomes has brought me (literally) to tears.

I would like to share my recent experience with Freshwater Management company. Ms Shioban and Mr Jonathan were really great to work with.
I was in need of a parking bay during Christmas vacation but due to most of the staff being on Holiday , the formal ticket could not be issued during Christmas week.Even the council offices were close to issue any street permit. Siobhan understood my case and allowed me to park in the property bay and timely informed the CPZ authorities that the vehicle parking permit will be issued soon but Freshwater is aware of my car being parked in the property.
During the holiday's I still received two parking tickets but Shiobhan took care of those promptly and worked with CPZ office to get those cancelled. Hats off there !
Jonathan on the other hand was very swift to work out a parking permit for me in less than 24 hours . He had very clear communication and prompt paperwork done so that the overall situation is fixed for good .
I am really impressed with the co-ordination , commitment and quality of customer service offered by these two and now have high regards for Freshwater company because of this experience.

Rude & extremely unprofessional company. They over charge leaseholders & make up their own prices & jobs.
They quite happily take your money but do nothing to show for it & when a major job needs doing, they rip you off no end.

I have a small 2 bed flat in a block above a shop with no lift & no gardening yet I'm paying on average �130 per month in service charges. Absolutely ridiculous & they should be investigated for unfair prices.
They barely reply to emails nor return phone calls,
Avoid this company at all costs!!

We bought a flat within a block that is managed by Freshwater a year ago. When we purchased the property we were told the service charge was £200 per quarter but have paid over £300 every quarter and have just received a huge excess service charge invoice with an attached schedule detailing the breakdown of the charges which seem so excessive. Since we have arrived Freshwater are continuously performing "major works" although there is no clear evidence of real improvements. They are unable to explain the charges. Has anyone disputed the payment of these excess service charges? Is there any way to get a better explanation of the charges without ending up in court?

We have had a ‘historic leak' in our shop for a very long time, I have phoned and emailed Freshwater regarding the leak on several occasions with no avail. I would NOT even recommend this company to my worst enemy (if I had one!). The fire exit to the rear of our property is falling away from the building and should be condemned – very dangerous in my opinion for the tenants in the flats above us (in an emergency) and in a state of panic. They call them self a ‘property management company' but could not manage a p*** up in a brewery. I think they should be shut down… Come on people read the reviews above from independent people, the question you have to ask yourself is. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO USE THEM!!! If I see the word Daejen Holdings or Freshwater Property Management on a lease I know to run 501 miles! If you look up Freshwater in the dictionary it stands for a load of s***. Thanks Freshwater and Daejen for NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm glad that's over.
I've sold my flat in Taymount Grange now and will soon never have to deal with Freshwater again. Both in buying, leaseholding and finally in selling, my experience is that they are exceedingly slow, their bills are very very high in comparison to others and they are very difficult to work with.
Having Freshwater or any of the other group companies associated with any property I wanted to deal with in future would put me off entirely. I would not recommend having anything to do with them in any way.
Taymount Grange SE23 in Forest Hill for example, looked to have been neglected for many years with minimal maintenance performed poorly. Then, in the space of three years, (I assume because of the neglect) major works had to be performed at the cost of many hundreds of thousands. Fortunately these are now all complete... just as I sell off and run away. I lost track eventually, but over the three last years I think the excess service charges on my one (of about 100 flats in the block) were about £25,000. On top of the annual £1800 gouging.
Avoid.
