We were grossly misrepresented by Foxtons agent (since fired) & handed a disgustingly unclean property. We have hugely suffered financially & mentally by the gross incompetence, irresponsible and callousness of the Foxton’s team Paul Phelan(Head of Property Management), Karan Kumar(Manager of Maida Vale branch) & Jack (now fired). Their actions made us homeless and we had to seek alternative housing.

- They have given us possession of a property was not cleaned at all, let alone a
professional clean
- There is mould on the bedroom windows & bathroom
- The living room wall has a leak
- The carpet on the stairs is not professionally installed and a massive health hazard.
It has been stuck down with duck tape
- After our initial complaint, the work the work is still incomplete

Honestly I think these guys think they can go around bullying people. We did a short let with them which they claim was professionally cleaned but there were cobwebs everywhere, some of the lights were not working on leaving Foxtons had the audacity to attribute the damage to us. Honestly I think these guys think they can go around bullying people. We did a short let with them which they claim was professionally cleaned but there were cobwebs everywhere, some of the lights were not working on leaving Foxtons had the audacity to attribute the damage to us. Unfortunately we did not receive a check in report from them. We also had the place professionally cleaned inside and Foxtons tell we they found watermarks in the bathroom so charging for a clean. In addition they charged us for a check out report which is first time I am hearing tenants are charged for this. Please stay clear of them as they seem to be looking for ways to make money since their profits dropped. I am just so disappointed by it all. There so called 24 hour emergency contacts are not as no one would answer when we had issues with the flat.
