I would not recommend Dowen to prospective sellers. They appeared good at the start - my house sold within days because it appealed immediately to my buyers, who had been looking for 15 months. Upon moving in, numerous repairs were promised including broken guttering, a damaged back fence, the gate on the side of the property having fallen off and lots of exterior wood work needing painting to prevent rot. Dowen had my property on their books for more than a year and only one (not serious) viewing was arranged. I had to show the viewer around myself. Their idea of sales seems to be put up a sign, put it in the paper once or twice, and put it on a website, nothing any other agency couldn't do.... Read Full Review
