I have read previous comments which appear to be a bit harsh and unfair in my opinion. And this is certainly not my experience of Dale Eddison Ilkley. I have read previous comments which appear to be a bit harsh and unfair in my opinion. And this is certainly not my experience of Dale Eddison Ilkley. During my tenancy I have been extremely well treated by caring and professional people from start to finish and received my deposit back in full very quickly. I am very grateful to Dale Eddison and have already recommended them to friends. Thank you!

Dale Eddison is a disgrace. They don't care about the law and tenants. They only care about the landlord because he is the one giving more money. I would not recommend anyone to let with them. At the end of the tenancy they will side with the landlord and do whatever the landlord pleases... Read Full Review

Dale Eddison is a disgrace. They don't care about the law and tenants. They only care about the landlord because he is the one giving more money. I would not recommend anyone to let with them. The branch manager informed me that he didn't know whether his own salary was paid by electronically or by cheque ! My own salary has been paid by bacs for 21 years. No faith in them at all. Same information had to be sent multiple times. Referred to my husband by the wrong name. Left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The house did eventually sell, and looking at the land registry sale prices, we were offering more than the house sold for. Offer never submitted by the agents.

Less established agents in the area will do a lot more to help you.

As a previous renter of theirs I have direct experience of how dishonest and manipulative they can behave when you subsequently spend a long time trying to get your deposit back. They are relatively professional when you are in the property, but when the process of leaving begins they are not to be trusted. Having been a renter with different companies for many years I feel suitably qualified to compare how they operate with other agents, no experience has ever been a joy but how they do things is in a different league.

Slow to respond or not at all.. Do not use for renting!
They are with holding our deposit because of an incident regarding lost keys that were returned via Royal Mail, Dale Eddison have been extremely unhelpful and uncooperative, only focussing on the cost and the money, regardless of the stress on us.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
