Awful company, very forceful, liars and awful attitudes. Told lies to first time homeless buyers, that a property with tenants was proceedable and it isn't. Awful company, very forceful, liars and awful attitudes. Told lies to first time homeless buyers, that a property with tenants was proceedable and it isn't. They've lied to the tenants currently in the property and caused so much stress. Caused financial loss, do not own up to what they have caused. Can't be bothered to respond to conplaint emails. Compete buyers at bidding wars on properties for more money. Never flexible tò offer viewings. Caused three young children severe emotional distress as they continue to remain homeless and unsettled. We asked to wait until current tenants vacate and this agent said no or they would remarket the property after our offer was made. So we proceeded and now cannot move in, and have to wait for the legal process to start. This agent, not once have showed any care or commitment to sort these problems. Their current tenants are extremely upset and all they can do is ignore everyone involved. I will never sell my home with this agent, who then try to hide what they have done by deleting truthful feedback.

Higher than some but so worth it, the extra I got in the selling price achieved more than paid this.

Having used the national estate agents in Thetford with very poor communcication and no desired result we decided to use Chilterns for their local knowledge of the market. This proved to be the answer we were looking for with the desired outcome within a few short time frame. Even though our sale price was less than the national average, we were still made to feel as though Chilterns valued our custom and respected our wishes. The key issue was communication. Chilterns were excellent all others were very poor. Many thanks Andy and team.

I am the Regional Sales Manager for a New Homes Builder and have recently instructed Andrew at Chilterns in Thetford to undertake the sale of nine properties in the Thetford area. I am extremely happy with the service I have received and would have no hesitation recommending their services and I will definitely continue to use them.
Within hours of my phone call requesting a valuation, Andrew has measured and photographed the property and given me a realistic market valuation, together with advice and guidance on how best TP prepare the property for sale. Every property I have instructed them on has been uploaded to the various websites the very same day! During the marketing process I am kept fully informed via SMS and email alert, the sales brochures are fantastic, they operate an accompanied viewing service and are extremely knowledgeable about their markets.
I find them very pro-active and this means I do not spend hours chasing them. They keep me fully informed. My advice is simple: if you are considering a sale in the Thetford (Norfolk) area then speak to Chilterns.

During the process I received updates and was left in no doubt as to time frame for completion and the processes.

On completion of the purchase, he found a tenant and although I have only owned the house for 3 months they have already carried out an inspection of the property to ensure that the tenant is keeping it in good order and treating it with respect.
The rent is paid to Chilterns who transfer it to my bank account within a few days. I could not ask for more from a Managing Agent.

Having read this comment I would like to add something of our 'contact' with Chilterns Estate Agents in Thetford. Some of the employees are very rude and hostile and repeatedly bombarded us with phone calls asking us to let them sell our property for us. These calls plus the weekly posting of leaflets/compliment slips requesting we contact them came repeatedly for months on end. They are aware that we are pensioners but kept on and on. I would never consider dealing with that company ever and would never recommend them.
