Having tried to organise viewings through to terrible customer service i am at a loss as to how this agency exist. No care or consideration for people travelling hours to view properties and having then been told to expect paperwork sent through, not only did i have to chase but then the property was let to another... i only found out after i again had to call. The genuine lack of customer service is staggering. i really would implore you to search elsewhere if you wish to rent or buy as i have now seen the other reviews and wished i had found them earlier.

I've had the misfortune of purchasing several properties through Bowen Son & Watson. This agency is quite possibly the most archaic, dated and negligent estate agency I have ever encountered as an investor and purchaser of my own home. As a cash buyer, they have been excited for me to view their properties and have tried to tempt me to make offers. However, this enthusiasm has diminished every time once my house was under contract with the seller. They refused to return my phone calls, lied about Eddie Bowen not being at the office for urgent matters (when I was in my car outside and could see him through the window). It was an uphill battle from the start, but I managed to FINALLY get the keys to my new house. After two years at my home, I decided to get some information about a two-unit apartment building in Ellesmere. I was told that the property was sold, despite the fact they listed it on Rightmove the very next day as 'REDUCED'. I called back and, this time, spoke to Eddie. He told me that the property was unavailable because the sellers were unsure about selling. The third person I spoke to told me that the owner had died. This was not true and was very embarrassing when I had to inform the owner of his own death in the post office the very next week. A long story short... I pulled out of the cash purchase I tried to make for the building because Bowen Son & Watson are completely out of touch with the real estate market. Their old-fashioned MO, lack of moral code and deceitful staff have damaged their reputation. AVOID.
