I purchased a house from Barratts in 2021 and the moment i opened the front door the headache started.
Over 300+ issues, lies from staff, staff making personal comments about me to suppliers. Forced to sign settlement agreement for a refund - they laid the wrong carpets! it took over a year to get the money back and they forced me to sign the settlement and silenced me.
The stress and impact on my mental health and wellbeing has been difficult, they know i have ADHD but still continue to make it hard for me. I have been raising complaints for several months, they have offered me compensation which isn't acceptable compared to what they have put me through, the CEO bullied and threatened me in an email stating he would withdraw the compensation altogether if i don't accept it. I didn't accept it, i raised complaints against the CEO and Barratts again, i am now being ignored despite receiving the following from Customer Services - I will not give up and I will have justice. The dispute is ongoing.
