Its a good 90 pounds for each person which I think they did not deserve to have at all. The fact that they were so keen to rent the house out to someone else was so that they could get another 90 pounds from each tenant instead of giving a discount to us which current tenants get for another year.

Everyone charges a fee. Sometimes it could be inconvenient for a student. But it becomes worse if there random charges there on and no assistance is provided during the tenancy. Tomlinson Estate Management did have a sign up fee but they deserve that as they solved every issue during our tenancy instantly without ripping off absurd charges.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
