I had a terrible experience with Bairstow Eves today! I made an appointment for a property viewing with Bairstow Eves this morning. Also, their sales person insisted that I need to talk to one of their mortgage advisor and said this mortgage advisor will be free in 20-30mins. I checked my schedule and I have one hour before my next appointment. So I agreed that I would talk to their mortgage advisor. However, one hour passed and no one rang me. I had to move to my next appointment. While I was busy the mortgage advisor rang me, I had to interrupt my work to answer the phone and said I was busy but happy to talk to him later or on Monday. Then the mortgage advisor was happy to reschedule it to Mon. I thought everything was fine. Very unpleasantly, the sale person emailed me after saying "XXX we agreed that you would talk with my mortgage consultant this afternoon and when he called you said you were unable to talk. I need you to speak with him before we view any houses". I was not happy to see his email at all. Because it was simply to say that the appointment I made to view the property on the weekend would have to be cancelled as I wouldn't have chance to talk to the mortgage advisor before the viewing. So I rang him and said "I can't believe what he said in his email". Unsurprisingly his attitude was very bad and said "yes, I can't believe it either (with an angry tone), then I explained why I became unavailable because the mortgage advisor rang me late and I was already busy. But he seemed didn't buy it at all. I found it very unhappy, so I said "If you are not happy about it and as you said if you don't want me to view the property as I didn't talk to your mortgage advisor, you can cancel my appointment." He quickly responded and said "well, good, let's cancel it!". Then hung up the phone. I talked to my wife and she thought it was not good service and not professional at all too. She rang Bairstow Eves and wanted to complaint to the manager. The person who answered the phone said the manager was not there and my wife explained what happened and said we are customers and we can't believe they treat customers like that, she said "you are not customers, the sellers are our customers!" OMG! I was shocked, totally. We said we need the sales person to apologise. She said "He was just too direct, not rude, so he doesn't need to apologise"...

Doing business with Bairstow Eves was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Once they have your money, they don't give a damn. They won't even return your phone calls. I really cannot express my disgust without resorting to expletives. If you do business with them, you will regret it.... Read Full Review
