Stay away from these conmen - they they are disgusting people and they will scam you out of your money. My Colleague paid a £500 'holding deposit' to make an offer on a property to David St James. They took the money and then said that they would get in contact with the landlord and he rejected the offer. My colleague asked for his money back - David St James told him to email an 'Accounts Department' email address which has no name, no contact, no phone number. This is because David St James do not have an accounts department. They just take money from anyone who wants to make an offer on a property and pretend to talk to landlords and then when the property doesn't materialise they send them to this department who will never reply as it doesn't exist. Then they will try and say that you backed out of the deal and extract a further £1000 from your card. They are total crooks. They will lie and lie to you to get rid of you but never ever pay money back to you. My colleague knew that he was being conned so he went there to get his money back. When he entered the office he was subjected to vile abuse by the owner - the 1st person named above. And then when my colleague refused to leave the office until David St James had agreed to pay his money back - the owner then violently assaulted my client - threw several punches at his face and beat him violently until my client was able fight back and then escape. The owner, named above - also thought he would maximise the situation by telling the police that his £7000 Cartier Roadster Watch was stolen from his wrist by my colleague during the assault. But he was see still seen wearing the watch minutes after my client had left the office - it had come loose during the assault. These shady conmen will do anything to get more money After my client had left the office, the owner - named above 1st, attempted to steal money from his credit card, using the details that they had from when my colleague paid his deposit, but the bank blocked it. These vile men are cowboys and they dont care about anything except money. They dont care about leaving people on the streets with nowhere to live. As long as they are taking your holding deposits thats all they care about. The business is £160,000 in debt and they are trying to sell it to another company DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS AGENCY - THEY ARE TOTAL CONMEN. My colleague never received his deposit back from these crooks, after 1 year.
