This agency is a part of the OM Property Management Group, and all of the comments that have been submitted to this site regarding OM apply to Insero as well. OM is rated at this site as the worst property management agency in the UK. Insero impressed us with their dishonesty, discourtesy and incompetence. The service they provided at our property ranged from failure to resolve bills left over from the previous tenant, threats of retaliatory eviction, and refusal to make basic repairs. The tenancy ended with repeated attempts on the part of Insero to steal the deposit from us. Fortunately these attempts were not successful and they received nothing. If property agencies were properly regulated firms like this would not be permitted to do business at all. As it is, think twice before recommending them to your enemies. You couldn't hate anyone that much.

25 Mar 2014Dear Byethieves, I note your comments regarding this agent and wondered whether you had raised these directly with the agency themselves. If you have it would be useful to understand the outcome? If they are members of ARLA they will have to follow the complaint process prescribed by ARLA, which will include the appointment of an ombudsmen if you remain unsatisfied. This is worthwhile if you feel you have a case. I wish you all the best

Hi Denise and Tony have both been hard working and straight forward and if it wasn't for them I probably would not have let this flat. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
