Spoke to Alan a few times over email and conveyed how keen I was to see a flat which was published on their website and managed to organise a viewing. Arriving at the location and meeting one of his members of staff it became apparent that a key element than Alan had failed to mention was that the flat was still under construction and still about 3 weeks from completion. That's wasn't a huge issue as it looked promising and, again, I re-iterated my eagerness to see the flats again sooner to completion and asked him to keep me up to date with inquiries from other potential buyers. 2 weeks later I get in touch as agreed and he informs me that only one flat is left and the others had offers pending. This irritated me slightly as that had not been agreed but nevertheless we agreed another viewing and I put an offer down. This is where the real issue started. Not only did it take 4 working days for them to come back and accept my offer, when they did come it was only verbal and we agreed that a deposit was needed to take the property off the market which I was happy to do. A full day went by with me chasing hourly for the transfer details which never came. They then came back to me saying they had another viewing and they had to wait until that happened to send through the paperwork. This infuriated me as my one condition in my offer was that no other offers could be entertained once my offer was accepted. Their word meant nothing. 2 hours after the viewing they came back to me saying that my offer had not been formally accepted as it wasn't in writing and did I want to offer more for the flat to compete with the latest viewer. They had the nerve to come back to be numerous times following that asking for more money. THEY NEVER KEEP THEIR WORD AND CANT BE TRUSTED. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, great customer service when considering the name I'm guessing he has a stake in the business. APPALLING - I'm hoping these feedback sites are used and hopefully improve the morals of this very corruptible industry.
When given his word, kept it. I can\'t wait for the bubble to burst so that they can be scraping around again

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
