We viewed two property's with HJC, The first property we viewed we offered the asking price, after waiting the weekend for a response we had to call them, we were informed that a higher offer had been put forward, following this we increased our offer, Again no feedback so we called the following day only to be informed that the property was under offer, the second occasion we viewed a property we offered above the asking price again no feedback, as a result we contacted them again only to be told the property was under offer, The point I would like to make is that we were not given an opportunity to make a counter offer, this can only be detrimental for the owner as they could possibly achieve a far greater amount of cash for there property. If this is HJC' s normal practice that's absolutely fine, however one must remember that they take out of the possibility of a biding war, how on earth can they know how much over the asking price or the offer they have received a prospective buyer go, this is a waring to both seller and buyer,
