Had some real problems with this agency. I lived at a property managed by them for 5+ years and when I moved out the agency claimed excessive deductions (over £500) from the deposit. They claimed not to have a signed inventory and tried to claim damages from the deposit on the basis the property was in new and perfect condition when let. Luckily I had a signed inventory to disprove most of this. They then changed tack to claim “deep cleaning” and “making good” were required to the flat, again the charges they tried to claim totalled over £500. These charges included almost £200 to clean the flat – no idea what cleaning firm they are using! I tried to resolve this reasonably but was left with no choice but to file a court claim. During the tenancy I thought they were alright, but the end of tenancy team were terrible – arrogant, rude and unreasonable.
