Not good, the property was unhygenic and a health hazard to children and adults. Dog excrement in the carpets and dog urine was found under deeper inspection, within the first few days. This wasn't originally noticeable as the property had been aired prior to viewing and signing. A professional carpet cleaner almost refused to perform a clean, as he said wouldnt be able to get rid of the smell and felt bad taking our money. Agents response was unhelpful and essentially was 'well that's they way it is'. Will be taking it further as have all the evidence, and is causing health issues to both adult and one child.

engage in the conversation and work on solutions rather than flat refuse to assist.

16 Jan 2014So you viewed the property with the previous tenants in situ and you knew they had a dog, you spent a hour being checked into the property on the day of moving in yet still didnt mention that there was a problem with the floor coverings which are all laminate downstairs and only carpeted upstairs, you then ask the landlord to pay to have NEW carpets fitted throughout which he declines and you then blame it on the agent.
