This is the company set up to handle "Live/Work" rentals for artist Jeff Lowe. Most of the properties do not have planning permission. We rented and conveniently, Rapid supplies the electric, which they change the rates one, and the VAT rates when they feel like it. They have no gas in the buildings, forcing you to use their expensive electric. They also had 6 day a week heavy contrustion going on in the buildings. The properties are not fit for habitation, and this was corroborated by the Council. Be warned before renting any 'live/work' property from these people. The leases are full of illegal clauses.

I was a tenant of Rapid Survey for almost 8 years. Recently moved into my own house. The live/work unit was exceptionally spacious and allowed me, an artist, to have creative space to work from home. Be wary of this lot. Jeff Lowe and Monica Lowe have found a convenient way of subverting Council authority with this "artist" Live and Work scheme, which is more of a scam. They supply dogey electrics, and no gas. One of their buildings burned to the ground, and the other has had fires ... Read Full Review
What agent could do to change your mind?
There\'s really nothing to be done except renovate these dilapidated, uninhabitable units and start over. The council seriously needs to take a look at this live and work loophole.
