We lived in Maidstone with Martin and Co as our landlords for the past 25 Months. Whilst we were with them they weren't terrible, but they didn't deal with problems quickly, had a couple issues when we first moves in tool a little while to fix. Had an issue with part of the outside of the premises which took FAR too long to fix, and when it was fixed we weren't even informed anybody was coming to do it. What really took the biscuit for us was when we came to leaving. We were hit with EXTORTIONATE fees, leavibg fees, admin fees blah blah etc etc! any fee they could possibly think of. we did have an issue with paying £50 each time we were to resign for a further year. as i see it all that was done was a date change on documentation and printed off and that cost me £50! The prices quoted for cleaning at the end of the tenancy were ridiculous. We kept the premises extremely clean and were even complimented on it. I suggest nobody to use Martin and Co. when we wanted to ask further info on fees and further info on the prices quoted, they were extremely unprofessional and sarcastic. Martin and Co have been Blacklisted for me!! Never will I rent a property from them again. Nor would I put my property with them to rent.
