Warning!!!! Please please please, do not use AVRillo conveyancing. I could write an essay detailing the ins and outs, but instead I will leave my email and anyone would like to look at my final bill, I'm more than happy to share it. The top and bottom is, my final bill was DOUBLE, yes DOUBLE my initial quote. I am a working single mum of 4, and buying our own house is something I had to work hard . We sold our family home at £317k (of which we had a huge mortgage) and I bought a house £145k. My final bill was just shy of 10 grand!!! 10 grand. My initial quote was just under £5k and these weren't the cheapest on the market at that but they were recommended by the estate agent. This company left ke heartbroken, every penny I had left was accounted to make our home livable. They would not ring the estate agent to release the keys until I had paid the bill in full. I lost £5k of an already small leftover budget and despite complaining to them afterwards, nothing has changed. I think they offered me £100 pounds. The process was not smooth with them. You have to do so much work yourself as there is no paperwork, everything is online with caveats about getting a surveyor to check everything. Half way through the process it turned out they are only conveyancing solicitors and couldn't deal with a simple agreed financial order resulting in me having to hire a second solicitor. Honestly I have never felt so unsafe, worried and taken advantage of in my whole life. This is the first time in my life I have ever written a negative review anything. My estate agent and financial advisor were in shock at my bill and had never known such a large amount charged. AVrillo broke me and put such a dampener on what should have been a happy time me and my children. Please please please be very careful you are choosing this company If you look hard enough you will see other reviews similar to mine. Thank you.
