Having sold 12 properties previously I have just had the worst experience with James Sellick. From start to finish they have lied about their business model. During their Sales pitch the Director said the only costs were 1.25% of selling price plus VAT. This turned out as a lie as they add in a £500 plus VAT they don’t sell. At NO point is this raised during their Sales pitch Sales pitch it is all bells and whistles on “ we don’t sell you won’t pay” - lie no1. During their Sales pitch sales pitch from memory you have to stay with them 8 weeks like other agents - lie 2 you are signed up 16 weeks or that is what they email you - lie 3 then having provided a month and half notice that you are going elsewhere on 16 weeks suddenly they say you have to give another 4 weeks notice. Then comes the withdrawal invoice that has never been discussed the £500. They promise up front a marketing strategy but in reality they have no strategy and simply appear to use rightmove and no other plans. They promise feature adverts - just don’t happen. I have asked email addresses of the directors but this has been refused. So please Mr Beretta and Mr Cameron please contact me as I cannot contact you about the poor impression the Oakham branch is giving your company. I haven’t uploaded copies of the written communication between us as don’t believe that is professional but trust me it shows them in very poor light. If I were you avoid avoid avoid this estate agent
