I honestly struggle to understand what service I actually paid . Apart from taking a few decent photos at the start, the estate agent did virtually nothing to justify their fee. There was no proactive marketing, no meaningful communication, and no visible effort to progress the sale. I had to chase constantly, and even then received very little in . The process felt entirely passive, as once the listing went live, their job was considered done. To add insult to injury, even the sale sign wasn’t taken down by the agent after completion — the owners had to deal with that themselves. That pretty much sums up the level of service provided. If you’re looking an estate agent who will actively work to earn their commission, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
