We had a genuinely great experience with Hunters, and especially with Jesse, who helped us secure our flat in Herne Hill. We’re expecting a child and were looking for a new home to properly set ourselves up as a family, which made the process feel especially important and, at times, overwhelming. We viewed a number of places and dealt with several agents along the way, and it was very clear that Jesse went further than anyone else we worked with. The care and effort he put in genuinely stood out. When showing us the flat, he took real time with us. He tested appliances, walked us through everything properly, and made sure nothing was rushed or glossed over. He jumped through a lot of hoops during the application process and was always easy to reach when we needed clarity or reassurance. I actually picked up the keys today, and even then Jesse checked in to make sure the inventory all looked right and let us know to flag anything we needed. Knowing he’s still around and available, even after the keys are handed over, really says a lot. His communication throughout has been clear, responsive, and on top of every detail, which removed so much of the usual stress. What really stayed with us is that Jesse clearly cares about people. He looks out for tenants while also doing right by the business, and you never feel like one comes at the expense of the other. If you’re working with Hunters, we’d genuinely recommend asking for Jesse. He’s a good human, a steady presence in a stressful moment, and someone we’re very grateful to have worked with.
