Buyers beware - gazumped after Paul Carr arranged additional viewings after our offer was accepted and a survey booked and paid for. We had a thoroughly unprofessional experience with Angela Preece. After having an offer accepted on a house purchase and a survey booked and paid for, Paul Carr knowingly showed another buyer around the house which we were told was now off the market. We received a call from Angela after the fact to explain that the other buyer signed an immediately binding contract to pay a non-refundable £10,000 deposit pre-survey. We had previously discussed with Angela and the seller that we would sign this contract and pay the £10k deposit post a survey, which all parties had agreed to. As a result of our previously accepted offer being rejected, we incurred non-refundable survey fees of over £1,000 for a home which we could no longer purchase. This was highly unprofessional and we were shocked that this practice was undertaken by a well known estate agent. We would caution potential buyers to be aware of such practices prior to proceeding with Paul Carr.

A little more than some of the competition but worth every penny. They worked hard at every stage, others seem to just stick it on the internet and let it happen - or not.
