Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
How to Complain to MAK Estates 1. Tell Us What’s Wrong – You can complain by calling, writing a letter, or sending an email. – Try to include as much detail as possible (e.g., what happened, dates, who was involved). 2. Quick Acknowledgement – We’ll confirm we received your complaint within 3 working days and send you a copy of this procedure. 3. Investigation – The office manager handles it and reviews your case. – Expect a full written reply within 15 working days of us receiving your complaint. 4. Request a Second Look (if needed) – If you're not happy with the first response, ask for a review by a more senior manager. – We’ll reply with a final decision within another 15 working days. 5. Still Not Satisfied? – If more than 8 weeks have passed or you're unhappy with the outcome, you can refer your complaint to The Property Ombudsman. – Do this at no cost. – You’ll need to do this within 12 months of our final response.
