Do NOT trust these people BBC News 14.07.25 Dubious sales tactics at two leading estate agencies uncovered Julie Gallagher sold her house through Connells' Abingdon office, where Panorama went undercover Lucy Vallance and Sarah Bell Julie Gallagher believes her home was sold at a lower price than it could have gone . There was a buyer who might have offered more it, an undercover investigation by BBC Panorama can reveal. Her Connells estate agent appeared to sideline this potential buyer in favour of someone who had agreed to take out an inhouse mortgage. Do anything you can to avoid buying or selling through Connells. They are absolutely dreadful across the board. The staff are incompetent and made crucial errors, such as neglecting to instruct a solicitor even after I had completed the instruction form. Their staff consistently lied to me and were ...
