19 Jun 2013Absolutely TerribleCompany. Its owner Horace Moseley is very good in talking and cheating others. In the month of March I paid him 6 weeks deposit and 1 month rent in advance for renting a flat in Ilford and also paid him letting fees in full. At the last moment when I was to collect keys and contract papers from him, he calls me and says that the flat is no longer available immediately as the tenants who are staying in the flat requires more time to vacate. Also, he said that the owner of the flat require more rent than what has been agreed. He offered me to refund me my full amount if I am no longer happy with this new deal. I asked for a refund and am still running behind him to get my hard earned money back. It was a big pain and harassment for me and my family (that includes my wife and six month old baby) to find an alternative place to stay at such short notice. My life has totally changed due to this as I am the only earning member in the family. Most of the time he will not pick up the phone, voicemail will be full, will say I am driving, I am with my son, I am with my family, I am out of London and so on.. When personally managed to meet him somehow, he will promise to pay back in 2 days, sometimes 1 week and so on. He also gave me a post-dated cheque once which bounced on depositing in bank. It has been around 2 months now and I am still waiting to get my money back from him (total of £1850.00). Being the only earning member in my family, I am now going through severe struggle in my life as I had to pay another deposit for the alternative flat where I am staying currently. Now I have no option left than to drag him to court for which I have now started legal proceedings. Beware and don't get caught out like me. Earlier he was running his business under the name of Rosetta Reed estate agent and now he is running his business under the name of R-Reed estate agent. Also, he is running his business illegally in UK as his firm is not registered with any of the UK governing bodies like Property Ombudsman or Office of Fair Trading. Beware of people like him if you don’t want to lose your valuable money.

Avoid at all costs rented my property and not paid any rent for months! The Tenant appears so scared that when I called round they hid behind the door so now I am worried about the tenant as well.
