I was forced to leave the flat due to a severe rat infestation, environmental health risks, and structural damage. I went on sick leave due to the physical and psychological harm caused by the conditions. Despite clear medical documentation, the agent refused to release my deposit, rent paid in advance, and pest control costs unless I signed a “settlement” to give up my legal rights. This is now being investigated by Trading Standards, the Property Ombudsman, and my legal team. I am now homeless and left without safe accommodation, this agency continues to operate unchecked. Future tenants should proceed with extreme caution — especially you’re vulnerable, have pets, or expect basic human standards. I’ve never been more disappointed in a housing experience in my life.
