In 2012, Beresfords acquired the reputable practice of Foxton Hayes which had been trading in and around Dunmow for more than 22 years.
Our branch in Dunmow is located in a prominent “High Street” position. Many of the staff live in the area and therefore retain comprehensive knowledge of the local
market, which is so important. Dealing with all types of property they are very well placed to offer sound and professional advice to anyone looking to sell, buy or rent.
Many of those looking to buy and rent locally come from areas further south within the M25 and due to the geographical location of all our other branches, we retain large numbers of serious buyers and tenants who are searching for suitable property in and around Dunmow.

I was only with Beresfords a year, but I can’t really fault them. Everyone with whom I dealt with from the great dunmow branch was kind and helped with any issues that arose within their scope. The inventory clerk, Barbara, was a very lovely lady, respected the property whenever she came over, more than I expected. When I asked advice on my check out, she was honest and fair to both me and the landlord, helped me receive my full dilapidation deposit back in full - which doesn’t just benefit me, but also the landlord and next tenant. Thank you making my time at Dunmow as stress free as possible.
