I had a frustrating experience with this letting agency trying to charge me a £150 “change of sharer” fee that’s illegal under the Tenant Fees Act 2019. The fee wasn’t in my tenancy agreement, and when I challenged it, they couldn’t provide any proof or legal basis charging that amount. I ended up having to push back hard and threaten to report them to Trading Standards and The Property Ombudsman just to get them to drop it. If you’re dealing with them, watch out sneaky fees and don’t them bully you into paying anything that’s not in your contract or breaks the law.

The best letting agency we have ever had to deal with. It was pleasure to, we were honestly sad to vacate the property managed by GKWhites mainly due agents being so helpful and nice. These letting agents should be investigated. They are scam artists and I guarantee that if you gather every person they have ever let to, they would have the same horror stories to tell. They let the flat to us in terrible condition, didn't paint or due minimum due diligence, or even clean ... Read Full Review

The fees are high, but higher that you initially expect because when you leave your deposit, which of course any responsible renter expects to get back, be assured they are not expecting to give it to you. They are expecting to increase their fee with your deposit, when it is time for you too move out.

Terrible service, took several months to get small issues fixed and constant emails and telephones calls before anything was done. Please avoid this letting agency. During our time with them they carried out 3 monthly inspections where on each occasion we were told there were no issues aside from some wear around the sink. At the end of the tenancy they wanted to charge us thousands of pounds for flooring, painting, cleaning ... Read Full Review
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agency could do better by being professional. They could be fair to tenants. They could do less inspections and be clear throughout the tenancy what expectations they have with regards to wear and tear of the property at the time. They could avoid lying. They could avoid putting the phone down on clients. They could avoid entering properties without permission and leaving front door keys in the front door (Nick McLeavy).

Diddnt want to put a star but had to!! this is the worst agent by far!!! taken money from our deposit for a full clean and pairing whole house, even tho no works were ever carried out once we left the property!!!
