Unfortunately we did not have a great experience with this agent resulting in them retaining the entirity of our holding deposit, paid in good faith, which we intend to dispute. To take matters further a one star review was left by both partners on my personal company page Inven3 Specialists Ltd. However, due to the nature of the clients we work with, this will not damage our reputation. From the viewing until the withdrawal of their interest in renting to us there were many red flags that we should have seen. When parting your with money with any agent please please ensure they send you a draft tenancy agreement and check to see that they have also ceased advertising the property, as both were not the in this instance. Better still check their one star reviews as these are more telling of how they truly operate and not just a disatisfied customer.
Despite being in the affordability range for the property and having to provide two guarantors, we were treated extremely unfairly.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
