Positive Renter Experience. I had a generally good relationship with Abbey whilst renting a furnished flat from the company for over 2 years. They had taken over another business so my flat was not in their local area. However, most repairs were fixed promptly and they were also very careful to abide by gas safety standards, for example replacing a non-compliant gas hob. I found the staff very friendly and easy to deal with. My deposit/bond was returned in full despite the carpet needing professional cleaning - the agent didn't seem to mind the fact that it was dirty on check-out. The block management company were not as good sadly when it came to fixing a water leak in the roof, but Abbey tried their best to push them along to getting it resolved.
