This company is an utter disgrace. I live in Spain and viewed a flat in Largs on the internet. I asked a solicitor to lodge a note of interest, booked a viewing with the SHH Largs office and booked flights and accommodation for my wife and myself at considerable expense. We viewed the flat and one hour later asked our solicitor to make an offer as we are cash buyers and can move quickly. The manager of the Largs office said that an offer had already been made and accepted. What is the point of a note of interest and showing people a flat that had already been sold. They are devious, underhand and anyone would be advised to steer well clear of them.

We had a very positive experience using Slater Hogg in Largs. They were extremely professional at all times and our agent Lisa was fully engaged in good communication and helpful with any queries we encountered. choosing these goons cost me £13K!! Agent terry didn't realise my attic space didn't meet building regs resulting in having to drop price at last mo by 10K then charged me 1.9K in fees!! With a 'free' home report... also didn't notice attic... Read Full Review
we talked 1% but the bank screen that i signed on the i-phone was apparently attached to an agreement to pay 1) my invoice for 1.29% +VAT or 2) my lawyers invoice for a fixed price of £1200 +VAT

Go anywhere other than Largs Slater Hogg here are the issues:- No feedback unless we phoned. Not taking contact details from prospective buyers. Unable to see their failings, they blame the customer. The model should be no sale no fee, that might wake them up and get selling.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
